We know that living in a construction site while renovating your home isn't for everyone. However, that doesn't mean you can't still have your dream home. RHM Construction offer turn-key new builds. This means we will build your brand new home and have it completely finished before you move in.
Benefits of new builds
One of the best things about new builds is that the design is 100% customisable. You're not stuck with a certain shape or floor plan like with a renovation.
You get to choose brand new kitchen and bathroom fittings to match the style of house you want. RHM Construction can offer our clients a 10% discount on stocked items from Franklins, one of New Zealand's leading kitchen and bathroom fittings distributors.
Another benefit is the warmer, dryer, more modern feel that you get with a new build. You get peace of mind knowing that it has been built to the latest version of the building code.
And finally, who doesn't like new stuff?
How long do new homes take to build?
Not even we can really answer that. There are many factors that will determine how long it will take including the size of the build, the access, unforeseen delays etc. However, RHM Construction will assess how long we think it will take during the planning stage of the build.
In addition to this, we will give you regular progress updates. On all projects, we give a realistic expected finish date and do everything in our power to achieve it.
How much do new builds cost?
In the same vein as how long new builds take, it is hard to say what the cost of a new build will be before it has been designed and planned. But, if we had to throw a ballpark figure at it. It would be around $2000 to $3500 per square metre depending on what materials you will be using.
Who will do the other work besides the building?
RHM Construction can manage your entire new build. We can arrange a meeting with you and one of the architects that we work with if need be.
Furthermore, we can manage any other tradesmen that your project may need. RHM Construction has formed great relationships with some of the best tradesmen in their fields. We only choose sub-tradesmen who produce work that is consistent with our high standard.
However, if you would rather use tradesmen that you have previously dealt with, we are happy with that too.
